Stuff I use

Computer

My desktop computer is about 5 years old now, but it’s more than enough to play most of the games I want, as well as VR, so I’m quite happy with it.

  • CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
  • GPU: GTX 1080
  • RAM: 16GB 2400MHz
  • Storage: 250GB NVMe, 1TB NVMe, 500GB HDD, 2TB HDD
  • Case: Corsair iCUE 4000X in white
  • OS: Windows 11 Pro
  • Display: MSI MAG27C 1080p 144Hz

For my input devices, I have a MX Master 2S as well as a custom keyboard I made using the very nice Portico kit by TKC, with some Kiwi switches and some cheap pudding keycaps on Amazon. It feels pretty great for the money—at least in my opinion—and it looks pretty nice too!

Laptop

2020 M1 MacBook Air with the following specs:

  • CPU: M1 8-core
  • GPU: 7-core
  • RAM: 16GB
  • Storage: 256GB
  • OS: macOS 🤯

Work Laptop

My job recently equipped me with a new Framework laptop!

  • CPU: i7-1260P
  • RAM: 32GB
  • Storage: 500GB SN850
  • Expansion cards: 2x USB-C, 1x USB-A, 1x DisplayPort
  • OS: Fedora 36

Other hardware

I used to be an Android guy, but I recently—well, 3 years ago—switched to iPhone. I’m currently using the iPhone 12 and it feels great, the screen is amazing and the camera system is 👌. That is not to say I don’t like Android, I just really like iPhone right now. Plus, I have a MacBook Air and an Apple Watch S5, and the integrations are great!

I’ve recently setup a NAS using TrueNAS SCALE which was a really fun thing to do! I can finally kill my Google Drive.

Software

On the computer side, I use this:

  • VS Code
  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Craft (excellent note taking app)
  • Transmit
  • Spotify
  • 1Password

On the mobile side, this:

  • Safari
  • Craft
  • Transit
  • Spotify
  • Spark (amazing email app)
  • Apollo (best Reddit app)
  • 1Password

Other services

Here are some services I use:

  • Google Domains
  • Cloudflare
  • Spotify
  • Twitter (mostly lurking)
  • Zoho Mail
  • Sendinblue, for their SMTP relay

This website

This website is powered by WordPress and used to be hosted on IONOS’ VPS M. It’s now on OVH.

The theme is custom-made, but was technically based on underscores at first. Though most of its code is gone or replaced by my own, especially the styles. There’s a bit more info on analytics over on my privacy page.

If you’re looking for the fonts, I’m using Georgia for headings and Atkinson Hyperlegible as the body font. It’s super accessible, and looks pretty great too!
